Galatasaray face Başakşehir in the Süper Lig on Saturday, 14 March 2026 in İstanbul, with the leaders looking to stretch their advantage while the visitors chase European qualification.
Galatasaray top the table on 61 points and have often held the upper hand in this fixture, while Başakşehir arrive fifth with 42 and within reach of the European places.
Aslan come in with four wins from their past five in all competitions, including victories at Beşiktaş and against Liverpool FC. Başakşehir have won three of their last five and beat Göztepe most recently.
Suspensions shape selection: Aslan are without Abdulkerim Bardakci, Leroy Sané and Metehan Baltacı. Başakşehir miss the suspended Kazimcan Karataş, with Amine Harit injured.
Okan Buruk's side have scored 59 and conceded just 18 in the league, averaging 2.4 goals per game with 61% possession, and could lean on Mauro Icardi and Victor Osimhen, who have 13 and 11 Süper Lig goals respectively. Baris Yilmaz has nine assists. Başakşehir's main threat is Eldor Shomurodov, second in the league scorers with 16, supported by Davie Selke and provider Miguel Crespo, who has five assists.
A win would take Aslan to 64 points and further cement their title push. Three points for Başakşehir would move them to 45 and strengthen their bid for Europe.
