AC Milan are in action for the final time this year tonight, bringing 2024 to a close with a game against Roma at San Siro.
As Paulo Fonseca admitted in his pre-match press conference, Milan have struggled for consistency this season, often dropping points in games that look winnable on paper.
Roma have been better under Claudio Ranieri but are still having a season with more downs than ups, and thus the Rossoneri will be targeting a victory to close the year.
As highlighted in our pre-match preview, Milan will be without a number of key players for today’s game, including Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic. Below is how the Italian media are previewing it.
La Gazzetta dello Sport: “Scary Milan-Roma, Theo is back. Forced to win, Theo makes peace.”
Tuttosport: “Theo, peace with Fonseca, back in the name of Milan. It’s Roma: a battle between disappointments.”
QS: “Milan with Theo against Roma, waiting for Leao and Pulisic.”
