Liverpool fans have taken Federico Chiesa to their hearts during his spell with the club.
Signed from Juventus for a fee that could reach £12.5m including add-ons back in September 2024 - the Italian is admired for his endeavour and work rate.
The 28-year-old has found it tough to break into Arne Slot’s reckoning however - starting only one match in the Premier League this season.
Premier League champions Liverpool have taken to using Chiesa as a “false 9” at times - suggesting that Slot does not really rate him in his best position at right wing.
Accordingly it has been reported that several Serie A sides - including Roma and Napoli are interesting in bringing Chiesa home this winter.

Under contract until 2028 - and earning a reported £140k per week - this is not an easy deal for Italian clubs to do but the next couple of weeks could bring a major breakthrough.
Torino Cronaca is now reporting that Liverpool are prepared to accept around £9m for Chiesa - making their money back on the original investment.
The leading contenders to sign the winger are Juventus - and Chiesa would have no trouble adapting considering his previous spell at the club and time under their current head coach Luciano Spalletti in the Italian national team.
But the Reds are unwilling to face a sale right now - with Mohamed Salah still away at the Africa Cup of Nations and both Alexander Isak and Hugo Ekitike injured.
The report claims that a deal could be concluded upon the completion of Egypt’s participation at Afcon - with the final set for January 18.
Juve still prefer a loan deal but a permanent transfer may well be the only way they get their man back. When Salah returns we could soon see Chiesa shipped out - with Burnley at home on January 17 potentially his final game as a Red.
