Racing Club de Strasbourg are considering former Wolverhampton Wanderers head coach Gary O’Neil as a potential replacement for Chelsea-bound Liam Rosenior, according to a report from L’Équipe. The 42 year-old is one of the names being reviewed by BlueCo and is understood to have met representatives of the ownership group on Saturday, with Strasbourg president Marc Keller and sporting director David Weir – currently in London – potentially set to hold talks with him in the coming hours.Current Strasbourg manager Liam Rosenior reportedly travelled to London on Sunday to open talks with Chelsea following the departure of Enzo Maresca. O’Neil has been without a managerial post since leaving Wolverhampton Wanderers at the end of the 2024 season. He led Bournemouth to Premier League survival in 2022-2023 before a spell at Wolves. Strasbourg will play fourth tier side Avranches on 10th January in the Coupe de France, and sit currently seventh in the Ligue 1 table. GFFN | George Boxall
