Roma continues to eye Endrick as an attacking target.
The Brazilian is on the Giallorossi’s shortlist, much more so than Mastantuono. Gasperini is reportedly firmly convinced he can transform him into a lethal second striker, given that until now he has almost always played as a free-roaming striker.
Malen’s path is somewhat inverse, as before arriving in Rome, he spoke to the Giallorossi coach, specifically asking to return to center forward after so many years spent running on the wing. The Brazilian remains a difficult target, however.
Having arrived from Brazil a year ago, Endrick faced a lot of competition, choosing to join Lyon in January. It was an experience that paid off for the young Carioca striker, so much so that Ancelotti included him in the World Cup squad. What will his future hold?
It’s no secret that Mourinho has other favorites and that Real Madrid’s current squad features at least six or seven attacking alternatives, including attacking midfielders like Bellingham, Guler, and Brahim Diaz.
According to Il Tempo, the Giallorossi are continuing discussions with the Madrid club to potentially find a middle-ground solution: perhaps a loan with an option to buy and a counter-purchase option, a la Paz with Como.
