The transfer window is getting closer and closer, and before focusing on incoming signings, Roma must resolve the issue of outgoing players by June 30th to comply with Financial Fair Play regulations.
The Giallorossi’s attention is currently focused on Mason Greenwood and, more generally, the attack, but other negotiations are ongoing.
In addition to the issues related to players whose contracts are expiring (Celik, Pellegrini, Dybala), Gasperini is also targeting reinforcements in the flanks: among the names being pursued is Nottingham Forest’s Savona.
A new addition will also be needed in defense, especially considering the possible departure of Ziolkowski.
Sport Mediaset reports that in the last few hours, Roma and Napoli have been exploring the possibility of Federico Gatti, the 1998-born center back who is leaving Juventus.
The defender, who hasn’t maintained his performances of last season, is listed among Juventus’ transfer prospects, and his market value is currently estimated at around €14 million.
It’s difficult to imagine an immediate move in the coming weeks, when Roma will be focusing almost exclusively on attack, but Gatti remains a name to monitor over the summer.
