Since arriving at the VCF Academy at the age of 11, José Luis Gayà has shown his quality, effort and commitment to the Club of his life: Valencia CF.

Gradually, he grew to become one of the pillars of VCF Mestalla. With the first team he made his debut on October 30, 2012 in the Copa del Rey match against UE Llagostera. From that moment on, his growth was exponential and his importance at Valencia CF increased, even becoming the second youngest player (28 years and 289 days) in the history of the Club to play 350 official matches. The first was Fernando Gómez Colomer, who with 27 years and 239 days reached that impressive figure.
