Real Madrid is close to announcing midfielder Bernardo Silva as a new signing for the 2026/2027 season.

The 31-year-old Portuguese player had been linked with Atlético de Madrid and Barcelona, but all signs indicate that he is indeed heading to Real, now managed by José Mourinho.

According to journalist Fabrizio Romano, the club and the player are making the final adjustments before signing the contract, which will run until June 2028.

Bernardo Silva had been at Manchester City since 2017. Before that, he played for Monaco and Benfica.
