According to Sacha Tavolieri, Rangers are eyeing a move for Genk defender Mujaid Sadick. The 25-year-old Spanish defender will be the Scottish sides target this January as they look to strengthen the squad available to head coach Danny Rohl. The club are currently fourth in the Scottish Premiership table, already 14 points off of Hearts who sit top of the league.

Sadick is in his fifth season with Genk since joining for Deportivo La Coruna. Having come in as a youngster, Sadick has developed into one of the sides top central defenders and has solidified his position in the back line. He still has plenty to work on to improve his game however, as he and Matte Smets have at times made costly mistakes for Genk. Since joining Genk from Spain the defender has made 135 appearances for Genk, scoring four goals.
