Al-Ittihad have confirmed the signing of AS Monaco forward George Ilenikhena for €33 million. The club said in a post that the 19-year-old has joined on a permanent deal.
The Saudi Pro League’s sixth-placed side announced the transfer on Tuesday. The deal was signed on Monday night.

Monaco will receive €33 million, comprising €30 million plus €3 million in bonuses. The Principality club were obliged to sell this winter.
Before sealing the move, Ilenikhena was approached by Al-Hilal, where Karim Benzema has signed, but he chose Al-Ittihad.
He has made 20 appearances for Monaco this season. He joins a squad featuring Moussa Diaby, Steven Bergwijn and, until now, N’Golo Kanté.
