Georgiy Sudakov promises Benfica fans he will come back stronger | OneFootball

A day after reporting back ahead of schedule at Benfica Campus, Georgiy Sudakov posted a message to supporters and signalled his intent for 2026/27.

The Ukraine international shared highlights from his 2025/26 season on social media and, writing in Portuguese, said: "Tenho saudades destas sensações. Até breve, benfiquistas".

The post followed his early return to the club's base in Seixal. With first-team training not due to start until Thursday, the No 10 chose to cut short his holidays and report in early.

The move went down well inside the club. At 23, Sudakov wants a bigger role and to show new head coach Marco Silva he can be one of Benfica's leading figures next season.

Among the images, the celebration of his goal against Sporting stood out as one of his most memorable moments. He is determined to move on from an adaptation year and raise his level in 2026/27.

After a campaign that fell below expectations for such a signing, his early return and public message are seen as clear signs of motivation to earn a prominent place.
