Yann Bisseck admits he’s ‘incredibly’ happy with his life at Inter Milan amid recent speculation linking him with a potential summer exit.
During his comprehensive interview with Sky Sport Deutschland via FCInterNews, Bisseck offered an update on his plans for the future.
Inter signed Yann Bisseck from Danish outfit Aarhus for a reported fee of €7 million in the summer of 2023.
“I didn’t know that new signings were followed so closely, but you have to make distinctions,” he said.
“There are players bought for €60 million, whereas I was signed for just €7 million.
“It’s nice to see how much people care about football. It makes you realize how big what we are doing here really is.
“That’s why it’s a great privilege to play here.
The 24-year-old enjoyed a dream start to life at Giuseppe Meazza.
Indeed, he was part of the squad that won a landmark 20th Serie A title last season.
Though Simone Inzaghi didn’t always see Bisseck as a first choice last term, he has given him a more prominent role in 2024/25.
Benjamin Pavard’s fitness setbacks furthered the German’s case.
“If at some point in the future my best option is to return to Germany, I will return to Germany,” Bisseck claimed. “If it’s Spain, it will be Spain.
“And if it’s staying here forever, I will stay here forever. I will do what is best for me and where I feel best.

“But at the moment, it’s not a problem at all. I extended my contract very carefully, and I am incredibly happy at Inter.
“I get chills every time I play at San Siro,” he admitted. ” And I have never played in a better stadium in my life.
“There’s nothing better than when the fans chant your name. Our fans are incredible.
“People don’t just support us on match days – I am often recognized on the street. People are very respectful.
“I can count on two hands the number of people who believed in me,” the German recalls. “But I think that makes it even better.
“My time in Portugal, the Netherlands, and even Germany was not easy, but in the end, these experiences only make you stronger.
“It’s easy for me to say that now because things have gone well, but I have always believed in myself.
“And the people who never doubted me gave me strength.”
Bisseck sees Virgil van Dijk as a perfect modern-day defender.
“He stays focused for 90 minutes, he has presence,” Bisseck said.
“He doesn’t just take care of himself and makes sure the entire defense and all his teammates are always engaged in the game.
“Those are the qualities of being a leader. That’s something I could be at 24.”
Meanwhile, Bisseck insists most people are wrong about perceiving Marko Arnautovic as ‘crazy.’
“He’s not as crazy as people say. He’s a really nice guy who also looks out for his teammates and friends.
“You can be sure that he will always have your back, and he always has a joke ready.
“He’s definitely one of the funniest guys in the locker room.”
Bisseck reportedly considered hanging up his boots during his loan spell at Vitoria Guimaraes in 2020/21.
Despite being only 19 at the time, the German wasn’t happy with his professional career.
“Yes, I had those thoughts,” he confirmed.
“I already had a well-thought-out plan to move to Berlin with a friend, study something, share an apartment. I could already picture myself there.
“Fortunately, things turned out differently. My friend is happy now, though.
“I’m happy for him that he has found his own path, and I’m happy for mine.
“The most important thing is that we are both satisfied. I always wanted to study medicine. I’m sure I would have found something.
“But looking back, I am very, very happy that I don’t have to take exams but instead get to play football in front of 70,000 spectators.”
