Ghisolfi accompanies Dovbyk and Hummels to Ballon d’Or ceremony | OneFootball

Roma management is trying to distance itself from the chaos and difficulties of the current situation.

Tonight, in fact, Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi will accompany Mats Hummels and Artem Dovbyk to the Ballon d’Or ceremony, which will be held in Paris.

Both Giallorossi players have been nominated for the prestigious award, the result of their performances in the last year with Borussia Dortmund and Girona, certainly not for their performances with Roma, as demonstrated by yesterday’s disappointing match in Florence.

The ceremony, organized by France Football, will be broadcast live on TV and streamed on Dazn starting at 18:45, with the official opening of the event scheduled for 20:45.

It is the first time in 23 years that Roma has two candidates for the Ballon d’Or, an event that brings to mind the presence of Francesco Totti and Damiano Tommasi in 2001.
