In hot conditions away from home, the west Londoners started strongly, going ahead inside five minutes.
Otis Honor's free-kick bounced off the pack to Bobb-Semple, the winger putting the ball across goal to Boni who smashed it home for the opener.
The momentum was short lived, however, as the hosts found an equaliser one minute later. Soon after it was Bobb-Semple in the action again, this time putting his header off Naeem Giscombe’s cross just wide of the goal.
Brentford goalkeeper Felix Lyon was called into action to make his first save as the 20-minute mark approached, diving well to his right to keep out Gil Vicente’s shot off the counter attack.
The keeper was forced into another save soon after, this time keeping out a certain goal in a one-v-one situation.
The game continued at a fast pace, both sides causing issues for the other when in possession, but both defending strongly too.
Brentford went ahead on 36 minutes following a superbly organised set-piece. Yerime Ouattara played the ball from the left side to Bobb-Semple inside the box who set the ball for Ouattara, the midfielder crossing into Boni near the penalty area who found the back of the net for his brace.
As half-time approached both sides had chances to add a goal. Bobb-Semple put a header wide from another Giscombe cross, Gil Vicente going down the other end and hitting the bar from a corner, leaving the scoreboard 2-1 at the break.
Out of half-time it was Gil Vicente who started on the attack as their forwards intercepted two loose passes in Brentford’s defence, however their attempts to lob Lyon went wide and high of the goal.
Just before the hour mark Bobb-Semple found the back of the net from Honor’s free-kick, however he was ruled offside.
With momentum back with the young Bees they went on the attack again, this time able to strike and take a 3-1 lead. Ouattara broke down the left side and crossed the ball into the box, Cohalan there to head it home.
Five minutes later Bobb-Semple found reward for effort, the winger taking a touch to his right on the edge of the box and firing at goal, the ball sailing into the top right corner to make it 4-1.
Soon after it was Gil Vicente who were back on the attack, their strike from outside the box finding the back of the net.
With 10 minutes to play Bobb-Semple broke free down the left and pushed into the box, however his shot was just wide of the goal.
Despite a gallant Brentford defensive effort across the last 10 minutes and into added time, two late goals from the hosts saw the game end 4-4.
The young Bees now turn their attention to Porto Under-17s on Saturday afternoon.
