FC Bayern are continuing to work intensively on the transfer of Nathaniel Brown and have now received positive signals regarding the transfer fee and the possible timetable

FC Bayern can apparently continue to hope for a timely breakthrough in their pursuit of Nathaniel Brown. Following recent reports of constructive talks between the Munich club and Eintracht Frankfurt, there has now been a new development regarding the potential transfer fee

As reported by Sky, Frankfurt’s asking price for Brown is up to 60 million euros. This would apparently make the 22-year-old more affordable than recently reported elsewhere, where there was talk of a possible asking price of 65 million euros

This is positive news for Bayern, as the German record champions have been working intensively for weeks to sign the left-back, who is regarded internally as the ideal solution for the left flank. With his dynamism, technical quality and versatility, Brown fits in very well with Vincent Kompany’s requirements profile

The Bayern coach is said to be keen to bring the international to Munich. It had previously been reported that Kompany had spoken to Brown personally and explained his playing philosophy and planned role at FC Bayern. Since then, the Frankfurt international has been one of Munich’s main transfer targets this summer

Medical check possible during the World Cup

According to Sky, negotiations between FC Bayern and Eintracht Frankfurt are still progressing positively. Both sides are said to be optimistic that an agreement can be reached. The transfer thus remains clearly on track, even if the final details still need to be clarified

The possible timetable is particularly interesting: if an agreement is actually reached in the coming days, the plan is for Brown to undergo his medical examination during the World Cup in the USA. The defender would then be able to complete the mandatory medical check directly on site without having to travel to Munich first

There have already been indications recently that both clubs are interested in a quick solution. For Frankfurt, clarity on the revenue side would be important, while Bayern want to push ahead with their squad planning as early as possible. Brown could play a key role in this

The potential transfer is also linked to the reorganization of personnel on the left side of defence. Bayern are looking at potential departures at the same time and want to create financial leeway in order to be able to act more flexibly on the transfer market

The deal has not yet been finalized, but the current signals continue to point towards an agreement. The fact that Frankfurt’s asking price is apparently up to 60 million euros should make negotiations even easier from Munich’s point of view.
