Gordon nominated for PFA Premier League Fans' Player of the Month award

The left winger, who was also in contention for the EA Sports Player of the Month prize, netted three times in as many Premier League matches for the Magpies that month.

The England international - who has netted 17 times in all competitions so far this season - scored from the penalty spot in Newcastle's 2-1 win against Manchester United at St. James' Park.

Gordon bagged the winning goal in United's 1-0 away win at Chelsea, the club's first league win at Stamford Bridge since May 2012, before scoring the opening goal in a 2-1 home defeat against Sunderland.

The 25-year-old has been nominated alongside Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes, James Garner of Everton, Nottingham Forest's Morgan Gibbs-White, David Raya of Arsenal and Brighton & Hove Albion's Danny Welbeck.
