Gordon Strachan believes free agent Harry Wilson could be a regular scorer for Leeds United if they move for him, with Fulham having offered new terms this week. The 29-year-old is out of contract this summer.

Leeds pursued Wilson on deadline day last summer but the move collapsed late. He then produced 10 goals and 7 assists in 36 Premier League appearances in 2025/26, a campaign that could yet be his last at Craven Cottage.

"Harry Wilson to Leeds United? There are 10 goals a season in there. I think he'd be a great signing. He can score 10 goals a season in the Premier League and he's free, that's definitely something to be looked at. Absolutely," said Gordon Strachan. He told Wales Online.

Leeds are unlikely to have lost interest given their need for a right wing or No 10, but competition will be fiercer this time. A fee once as high as £10m has fallen to zero and Wilson enters the window off his most productive top-flight season.

Wilson has previously hit double figures at Derby County and in his first season at Fulham in the Championship. Across his three earlier Premier League campaigns at Craven Cottage he scored 12 times and supplied 10 assists.
