Gudmundsson Spot-Kicks Complete Fiorentina Turnaround Against Lazio | OneFootball

Lazio suffered their second defeat on the road in as many attempts this season, as Fiorentina rallied from behind to earn their first win of the campaign.

Afterwards, Moise Kean had a few opportunities to put the Viola in the lead, while Guendouzi’s shot hit the post. The score remained 1-1 until the final minutes when Tavares clipped Dodo on the byline to grant the hosts a second penalty following a VAR review. Gudmundsson stepped up again, this time smashing his shot in the middle.

In the end, the debutant’s brace secured Raffaele Palladino his first victory in the Fiorentina dugout, while Marco Baroni’s men returned home empty-handed.
