Borussia Dortmund recently confirmed that Julian Brandt will leave the club this summer, as his contract will not be extended. Now, Sport Bild reports that other high-profile players – Serhou Guirassy, Felix Nmecha and Karim Adeyemi – could follow him out the exit door.

Guirassy has long been linked with a move away and reportedly has a release clause for certain clubs set at around €50 million. According to the report, the Guinea international plans to decide in May whether to ask Dortmund for permission to leave.

AC Milan and clubs from Saudi Arabia are said to be Guirassy’s main suitors, though none of them are apparently eligible to trigger his release clause.

Adeyemi, meanwhile, is said to be further along in considering a departure, having seen his playing time drop recently. The attacker has so far stalled on a contract extension beyond 2027, with the Premier League reportedly appealing to him.

As for Nmecha, Dortmund are keen to tie him down to a new deal until 2031. Whether they can convince the 25-year-old midfielder remains uncertain, though, particularly given strong links to a return to Manchester City, where he played at youth level.

Nico Schlotterbeck’s future at Borussia Dortmund is also uncertain, with the centre-back yet to decide whether to extend his contract beyond 2027.
