Marcel Hartel could return to German football, with Hannover scouting the midfielder as a potential replacement for Daisuke Yokota, who is on the verge of joining Scottish Premiership side Rangers.
According to Sky Sports, only final details remain to be clarified for the move.

The 30-year-old has scored 18 goals in 59 games for St. Louis City after arriving from St. Pauli in 2024.
Lutz Pfannenstiel, who engineered that switch, has since moved to Aberdeen.
