Hansi Flick calls Barcelona transfer target to ‘explain the project’ | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick recently made direct contact with a member of the club’s summer wishlist, to discuss a potential joining of forces this summer.

That’s according to Jijantes, who point towards Nico Williams as the player in question.

Wide-man Nico has of course taken his place back front and centre in the media chatter surrounding Barcelona on Friday.

This comes after confirmation was forthcoming that the 22-year-old – Barca’s chief transfer target last summer – had emerged back on the Blaugrana’s radar with a bang.

Nico’s agent Félix Tainta held a meeting with Deco earlier today, during which it was made clear that the Athletic Club standout is now ready to do whatever it takes to secure a Camp Nou switch.

And if the latest update on the situation to have surfaced late tonight is anything to go by, then one individual who appears to be very much on board with Nico’s arrival is Hansi Flick.

As per a report from Jijantes:

‘Hansi Flick has already explained to Nico Williams the project at Can Barça through a phone call.’
