Jack Harrison signalled he would be content to remain at Fiorentina beyond his loan after the win over Lazio, while stressing no permanent agreement is in place.

The Leeds winger produced his third Serie A assist of the season in that match, a left-footed cross for Robin Gosens in the first half. FirenzeViola reports that he told reporters, "I am very happy in Florence, the city is incredible and so is the club." He added, "As for the future, any player would obviously be happy to play here. We will see what happens."

Though often used on the right rather than his natural side, Harrison has rewarded Paolo Vanoli’s trust with smart, steady displays that fit the Viola’s approach. A shortage of fit wingers has helped his prominence, but he has earned those minutes.

He is on loan from Leeds with a €7 million purchase option, a feasible sum on its own. It comes alongside likely outlays, with compulsory buyouts for Fabbian at €13 million and Brescianini at €10 million.

Further possible costs for Rugani and Manor Solomon also loom. Of those files, Harrison’s future appears the least clear, although if Vanoli remains head coach the prospects of him staying in Florence could increase considerably.
