Manchester United had a host of young players in action on loan across England this Saturday.

The Shrewsbury Town keeper was magnificent in spite of his side’s 0-2 defeat to Harrogate.
He made seven stops, four of which were inside the penalty area. He made two clearances and completed 100% of his run outs.
The young keeper also won his only aerial duel.
The Sheffield Wednesday fullback put in an accomplished performance as the Owls beat Portsmouth 2-0 away from home. He will be especially pleased after last match’s own goal.
He had one key pass in the match and completed both his dribble attempts.
Amass was also a standout performer defensively winning six out of eight ground duels and two of his three aerial battles.
The Cameroonian keeper grabbed an assist as his long ball was collected and finished by Paul Onuachu.
His goalkeeping was less certain though as he failed to make any save or stop Gaziantep from drawing the match 1-1.
He did have two key passes in the match but could only connect with eight out of his 19 long ball attempts for Trabzonspor.
The midfielder played the final 28 minutes of West Bromwich Albion’s 1-2 defeat to Middlesbrough.
He completed 100% of his passes but lost both his ground duel attempts as he failed to help his side grab a draw.
The Fleetwood Town winger struggled in his side’s 1-2 defeat to Cambridge United.
He completed only eight passes in 78 minutes of football. All three of his cross attempts also failed to find a teammate.
Ennis was also ineffective in his duels, losing all four of his aerial battles.
The Irish midfielder played 80 minutes of Leyton Orient’s 1-2 loss to Reading.
He completed a tidy 90% of his passes but could only win one of his four ground duels. He also did not compete in any aerial battle.
The young fullback had a decent outing in Newport County’s 1-3 defeat to Gillingham.
He made six clearances and completed one tackle.
He won three out of his four ground duels but lost all of his aerial battles. Ogunneye did take good care of the ball though, completing 87% of his passes.
The midfielder played the entire match of Rotherham’s 0-1 loss to Stockport County.
He made 71% of his passes and completed two out of his three dribble attempts.
Gore also competed in a massive 21 ground duel attempts but could only come out on top in nine of them.
He also made four interceptions and three tackles in a busy midfield battle.
The striker failed to make any real impression for Northampton Town as his side lost 0-2 to Wycombe Wanderers.
He had one shot off target and failed with his only dribble attempt in a quiet afternoon.
Wheatley completed just five passes and lost his six aerial battles as he was regularly outfought by the Wycombe defence.
