According to Kicker, there is a 90 percent chance Harry Kane starts for Bayern Munich at Real Madrid on Tuesday.

The England captain missed Bayern’s 3-2 win over Freiburg at the weekend with an ankle knock but has returned to team training ahead of the Champions League quarter-final first leg at the Santiago Bernabéu.

Bayern coach Vincent Kompany said on Monday evening that a final call on Kane’s availability will be taken on Tuesday. He noted the striker completed a significant training load and he does not believe Kane has lost rhythm.

Kompany added that Kane understands the importance of the tie and the player must also confirm whether he is ready to start.

Team line-ups are expected about an hour before kick-off, with the match due to begin at 21:00 CET.
