Forgotten Chelsea man Axel Disasi has been offered to Spanish giants Barcelona according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.
The former Monaco ace is part of the infamous “bomb” squad having failed to agree a move away from Stamford Bridge in the summer.
The Frenchman reportedly turned down offers from several clubs on deadline day, and hasn’t played first team football since appearing for Aston Villa in the second half of last season.
Disasi has featured for the Chelsea development side in order to build his match fitness ahead of any potential move in January.
The 27-year-old was seen in first team training over the recent November international break, which led to stories of a possible reintegration, but Enzo Maresca put any idea of that to bed.

Disasi has featured for the Chelsea development side.
The France international looks like he’ll be on the move next month, and a number of clubs have shown interest including Lyon, Roma and Newcastle.
However, Disasi can’t join an international side on loan given Chelsea have used all those designated loan spots, but Romano has provided a new update.
“Axel Disasi has been offered to Barcelona but the only way he can leave is a permanent transfer,” he told his YouTube channel.
“Disasi cannot leave Chelsea on a loan deal. Disasi is still on a big salary at Chelsea, even though he is out of the squad.
“There is also AS Roma, Lyon and Paris FC interested.”
Whilst Disasi is attracting interest and could well leave in January, the same can’t be said for Raheem Sterling, with there seemingly very few suitors.

Sterling is also part of the “bomb” squad, but there have been next to no reports of any interest ahead of the window opening next month.
The England international had a disappointing loan spell at Arsenal last season, and his preference is believed to be to remain in London, which has made any potential transfer more difficult.
