Barcelona star Lamine Yamal has moved to heap praise on a fellow member of Hansi Flick’s squad.
This comes fresh off the Blaugrana cruising to another dominant three-point haul in La Liga.
Barca marked their return to action a short time ago, welcoming Villarreal to Catalunya’s capital with sights on extending their advantage atop Spain’s top-flight to four points.
When all was said and done, this is precisely what the reigning champions managed, courtesy of a Lamine Yamal hat-trick, followed by an injury-time strike from Robert Lewandowski.
The name of youngster Lamine, in turn, has dominated the media headlines across not only Spain, but all of Europe since.
As alluded to above, though, post-match, the 18-year-old was quick to reveal his appreciation for another Blaugrana star.
Pedri was introduced off the bench at the Camp Nou on Saturday, amid the midfielder’s ongoing efforts to recover full fitness.
And the 23-year-old wasted little time in making his presence felt, laying on an assist for Lamine to cap a dazzling cameo.
Speaking to the media post-match, Barca’s young winger therefore shifted focus towards Pedri, in explaining:
“Pedri’s passes are just incredible! I can only see the players’ feet and suddenly the ball is right in front of me.”
