TSG Hoffenheim are exploring a move for Belgian teenager Nathan De Cat, a deal that could challenge the club’s transfer record.
Bild claims Hoffenheim view the Anderlecht prospect as a long-term investment and are ready to compete financially to land him. The report says any agreement would require a fee among the biggest in the club’s history, possibly above previous records.
Hoffenheim’s most expensive arrivals have typically been in the €15-20 million range, underlining the potential scale.
Transfermarkt lists De Cat’s market value at about €27 million. It remains to be seen whether Hoffenheim will meet the price.
The 17-year-old has already made 53 appearances for Anderlecht, scoring four and providing five assists. He has drawn interest from clubs across Europe, including Bayern Munich.
