An insight into the financial requirements laid out in Barcelona’s agreement with Manchester United for Marcus Rashford has been forthcoming online.

This comes amid confirmation that the Blaugrana have managed to negotiate a reduced option to buy for the 27-year-old.

Frontman Rashford has of course dominated the headlines across all of Europe over the last couple of hours.

This comes after word was forthcoming that the Barcelona brass have tied up a deal with their Man United counterparts, for the Englishman to link up with Hansi Flick’s squad.

Rashford is primed to make the move to the Camp Nou on loan for the 2025/26 campaign.

The deal, it is understood, will also feature an option to buy.

And as alluded to above, on Saturday, an insight into the details of the option agreed upon between the sides has been provided.

As per a report from Marca:

‘The player will arrive on loan with a purchase option between €30 and €35 million, which remains to be determined.’
