Those behind the scenes at La Liga giants Real Madrid are hopeful of making use of the bond between Marc Guéhi and two of the club’s stars to bring the Crystal Palace defender to the club next summer.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who have on Friday provided the latest on the situation.

Stopper Guéhi is for his part a man in demand ahead of the 2026 summer transfer window.

This comes ahead of the expiration of the Englishman’s contract terms with the aforementioned Crystal Palace.

Held in high regard across the continent, Guéhi is therefore expected to be targeted by a whole host of top European clubs.

Two such sides come in the form of Real Madrid and Barcelona, ready to duke it out on the transfer front after doing likewise on the pitch last weekend.

The former, though, feel as though they may have an ace in the hole when it comes to striking a deal for the talented 25-year-old.

As per a report from Diario Sport:

‘Real Madrid hope to be able to make the presence of Jude Bellingham and Trent Alexander-Arnold count to convince their compatriot.’

Los Blancos, on the lookout for replacements for both David Alaba and Antonio Rüdiger, view Guéhi as another Englishman who would thrive in Spanish football.
