Wrexham have been credited with a transfer interest in Andy Robertson ahead of the summer market
Wrexham have been credited with an interest in signing Liverpool defender Andy Robertson if they gain promotion this summer.
The full-back’s future is up in the air with his contract with the Reds set to expire at the end of the current campaign.
The Scot has won two Premier League titles, a Champions League, an FA Cup and two EFL Cups during his time at Anfield.
However, he has fallen down the pecking order under Arne Slot this season following the arrival of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth last summer.
Robertson has made 17 appearances in the Premier League, including only five starts, compared to the 33 occasions he featured for the team in the previous campaign.
It was reported by Teamtalk earlier this month that Wrexham are considering an approach for the Scotland international, provided they gain promotion from the Championship this season.

According to Football Insider, Tottenham Hotspur are ready to pursue a deal for Robertson in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The London outfit were linked with a move for the defender during the January transfer market, but an agreement failed to materialise.
Robertson’s future remains up in the air with his contract set to expire in June, and the Premier League side are still keen to bring him to the club.
Tottenham have struggled for results this season, and injuries have played a major role in their decline, hence their interest in the 32-year-old.
Destiny Udogie is their regular first-choice left-back, but he has managed just 13 appearances in the Premier League this campaign, emphasising the need for greater depth.
It remains to be seen whether Robertson would prefer a move to Spurs over Wrexham, with both clubs yet to determine their league status for next season.
Igor Tudor’s side are in danger of suffering relegation to the Championship, sitting just one point clear of the relegation zone ahead of their trip to Anfield this weekend.
Meanwhile, the Red Dragons are still inside the play-offs despite a 2-1 loss to Hull City on Tuesday night.
Phil Parkinson’s side have already achieved back-to-back-to-back promotions in the last three years, and could make it four in a row in 2026.
Wrexham are three points clear of seventh place Derby County, who have also played a game more, giving them some breathing room to the teams behind them.
Next up for the club is a home clash against Welsh rivals Swansea City on 13 March in an 8pm kick-off.
Spurs are obviously a big club, and the prospect of signing for them is enticing on paper, if Robertson does leave Liverpool.
However, Wrexham’s trajectory is clearly far better than the London outfit’s, who could well be in the Championship next season.
Robertson’s decision over his future will likely depend on whether either team is in the top flight, and yet he could still make a move away from English football entirely.
It would certainly be an ambitious move for Wrexham if they get promoted, particularly as he will likely command a hefty wage package, but the lack of transfer fee could make it worthwhile.
