Spurs need a response after last week’s humbling

Tottenham welcome Liverpool today in desperate need of a better performance than their last.

The Dane is feeling the pressure with the north Londoners 11th in the Premier League table, where they sit four points off Crystal Palace in fifth.

Liverpool, meanwhile, also need a positive result to lift the mood at Anfield in the wake of Mohamed Salah’s bombshell interview and their slide down the table.

Arne Slot’s defending champions are seventh, but could well have turned a corner after two consecutive victories against Inter Milan and Brighton in their last two matches.
