How Trent Alexander-Arnold responded to Real Madrid punishment

An insight into the reaction of Real Madrid star Trent Alexander-Arnold to news of his harsh punishment on the part of manager Álvaro Arbeloa has come to the fore online.
This comes after the Englishman endured something of a mixed evening in Sunday’s Madrid Derby.
Real are of course fresh off putting city rivals Atlético to the sword by three goals to two, to keep alive their La Liga title hopes.
En route to as much, the aforementioned Alexander-Arnold played an important role, laying on the assist for the game’s winner.
This only came, however, after the former Liverpool man had been dropped to the bench from the off at the Bernabéu, replaced as a starter by Dani Carvajal.
It was subsequently revealed that as much came as punishment for a late arrival to training on Saturday.
And as alluded to above, with the dust having now settled on the situation, further details of Alexander-Arnold’s response have surfaced.
As per a report from The Athletic:
‘It was Arbeloa himself who informed the right-back of his decision. Alexander-Arnold accepted it and apologised to his coach, captain Dani Carvajal and the rest of his team-mates. A training ground source said he had acted “like a gentleman”.’
