D.C. United will host Orlando City at Audi Field in Washington, D.C., on Saturday, September 13, 2025. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. ET/ 4:30 PM PT, as part of the MLS regular season.
The only confirmed live broadcast is on MLS Season Pass through the Apple TV app in both the U.S. and internationally. To watch, you can subscribe to soccer via the Apple TV app or via tv.apple.com.
The D.C. United vs. Orlando City match will also be available on the radio as D.C. United games are carried live on 1190 iHeart Sports DC (WTSD AM) and 101.1 HD2, and also use the iHeartRadio app with commentary from Dave Johnson and Bruce Murray.
The Orlando City games are on WYGM “96.9 The Game” in Orlando. Both stations will also offer listeners custom audio streaming.
For Orlando City, this is another chance to pad their playoff position. They are 5th and right on the edge or very close to being in automatic playoff qualification and home-field advantage in the first round, depending on where they finish. A win against D.C. United would give them a cushion.
D.C. United’s stakes are different; they are officially out of the 2025 playoffs. They’ve been officially eliminated from the 2025 playoffs. What’s left is pride, momentum and maybe some statistical records (goal differential, number of wins, ending winless streaks, etc.).
A positive outcome here could also help from a morale standpoint, in terms of the coaching staff and player evaluations going into the offseason.
The two teams last met on March 22, 2025 when Orlando City beat D.C. United 4–1. That game showed United’s defensive weaknesses and Orlando’s attacking strength.
