Huddersfield Town are linked with Leeds United starlet Harry Gray and have been urged to complete a deal 'good for everyone concerned' this summer...
Harry Gray has been linked with a number of League One clubs, including Leeds United's West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town.
Huddersfield Town and Sheffield Wednesday both want Harry Gray, with journalist Alan Nixon also stating that fellow League One sides Wigan Athletic and Barnsley have been reported as keen on the versatile forward.
Gray comes from a famous family associated with Leeds United, with his brother, Archie, playing for Tottenham Hotspur after coming through the ranks at Elland Road, while his grandfather, Frank, and great uncle, Eddie, also played for Leeds in the best period in their history.
Huddersfield could be his next destination but Gray went on loan to Rotherham United during the back end of last season in League One, with the Millers relegated to League Two but the 17-year-old impressed in flashes as either a striker or left winger. He scored three and assisted one in his 20 appearances, which were all starts.

FLW's Terriers fan pundit Graeme Rayner was asked about Huddersfield being one of the League One clubs said to be in for the teenage starlet on loan. He can operate as both a striker and a winger and we asked if he thinks the Terriers can give him the best platform to develop in 2026/27, with Wednesday, Wigan, and Barnsley all also linked.
Graeme told FLW: "Harry Gray is clearly an exciting prospect. I know he's really highly thought of at Leeds. So, yes, I think it would be someone that would be worth a look.
"However, I suppose the question is where would he fit in the system that we are going to play. Also, what sort of game time are Leeds going to be expecting us to give him? Therefore, are we the best fit for him?
"I think we need to use the loan market better than we have done. Last season, the standout loan signing was obviously Leo Castledine until Christmas and was then recalled and sold.
"I think if he is someone that can come in and improve things and develop himself, it could be a good deal for everyone concerned. But we'll have to wait and see, I suppose.
"There is a slight thing that would stick in craw a little bit about helping Leeds develop an asset, but I think we can put that to one side and do what is the best for the team at the end of the day."

It's claimed Leeds would prefer to keep him in Yorkshire or at the very least locally, according to Alex Miller. That could benefit Sheffield Wednesday, Barnsley, and Huddersfield in terms of securing the young forward.
Huddersfield are the most local of them all, given their proximity to Leeds. Of course, while the prospect of signing a member of the Gray family from Leeds may not immediately appeal to every Huddersfield supporter, Harry could prove to be an excellent loan addition.
The young forward has developed an outstanding goalscoring record at academy level, scoring 15 and assisting two in 22 appearances for the U-21 team, including against senior teams in various cup competitions as well, while also demonstrating impressive dribbling ability, suggesting he has the all-round attributes to now kick on in senior football.
Crucially, Huddersfield may offer the ideal environment for his first full-season loan spell, and not just geographically. A club expected to challenge for promotion would provide the pressure and expectation that mirrors what he could eventually face at Leeds, while Martin Drury's side should dominate enough matches to create regular opportunities in the final third.
Competition for places would also ensure Gray has to earn his minutes rather than be handed them, which is a challenge that could accelerate his development and better prepare him for the demands of Championship football in the future.
