Hugo, Corinthians left-back, has surgery on right knee

Corinthians left-back Hugo underwent surgery on his right knee on Wednesday morning to repair a meniscus injury. The player said in a post that the operation had gone well and he thanked supporters.

He was hurt on five February in the first half against Capivariano at Neo Química Arena in the Campeonato Paulista. In a challenge, his leg became stuck in the turf, he fell and immediately asked to be replaced.
