‘I am sure about it’… Diego Simeone opines on whether a key Barcelona star will be able to play tonight | OneFootball

However, Hansi Flick might not be able to field one of his key players for this match, as Lamine Yamal suffered a significant blow to his foot in the last game against Las Palmas.

As Mundo Deportivo has reported, Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone also expressed the hope that Yamal would be able to play against his side in tonight’s game as he answered the questions of a journalist.

The Argentine tactician was quite sure of the winger’s ability to play tonight: “He is going to play, most likely yes… I am sure about it.”

Meanwhile, the Barcelona head coach, Hansi Flick, had also expressed similar optimism about Yamal’s chances of playing tonight as he addressed his customary press conference. In this regard, the German coach said:

“We have to wait and assess. I think he will be able to play, I have positive feelings. We’ll have to wait.”
