Journalist Sandro Sabatini was full of praise for Inter Milan and coach Cristian Chivu following the Nerazzurri’s dominant 4-1 win over Cremonese at San Siro.

Speaking on his personal channel, via FCInter1908, Sabatini lauded the energy, balance and quality shown by the team.

“Okay, it was only Cremonese,” he admitted, “but I saw an Inter I hadn’t seen in years.

“A team that will fight to win the Scudetto: strong, powerful, full of enthusiasm, with players helping each other.”

He pointed to the depth and belief running through the squad. “It’s a big squad with real individual quality. If Lautaro Martinez keeps playing like this, he’s a captain and a striker of the highest level.

“And if Bonny, who’s the fourth forward, manages to make us forget Thuram, then Inter have a potential they simply didn’t have before.”

Sabatini went on to highlight Chivu’s impact and the new energy he’s brought to the side.

Barella as a regista gives those outside-of-the-foot passes that remind me of Modric.

“Dimarco hasn’t looked this sharp in a year, and everything else follows from that: the intensity, the movement, the confidence.”

He then turned his focus to Chivu’s leadership.

“Cristian Chivu is a great coach,” Sabatini continued.

“Don’t start with the usual inexperience talk: a quick Google search shows he already had 13 Serie A games before.

“Conte had about 15 when he joined Juventus, and it didn’t matter then either.

“What matters is how the players look at him, how they follow him, the empathy he creates… and the football they play.”

Concluding his analysis, the journalist underlined just how dominant Inter were: “This Inter could have won 10-0. That’s how superior they looked.”
