‘I heard…’: Bundesliga expert confirms Man Utd are interested and ‘can afford’ €100m attacking sensation

German football expert Christian Falk has confirmed that Manchester United are interested in and ‘can afford’ Yan Diomande.

Speaking via his CF Bayern Insider column, Falk revealed that the RB Leipzig starlet has been valued at €100 million (£87.1m) by club chief Oliver Mintzlaff.

He has grown a lengthy list of admirers in the Premier League, which includes three of the division’s top dogs.

19-year-old Diomande, a nine-capped Ivory Coast international, has returned a hugely impressive eight goals and six assists in 23 appearances across all competitions so far this campaign.

He would likely relish the prospect of playing alongside his compatriot, Amad Diallo, at club level, having both played at the African Cup of Nations in January.
