Officially presented to the press on Thursday afternoon, Paris FC’s new manager Liam Rosenior expressed his desire to keep Ilan Kebbal (28) for the coming season.
“I want to keep him. He’s a top player,” said the English manager. “He impressed me last season when I faced him with Strasbourg. His style of play fits in with our philosophy.”
A philosophy that Rosenior went on to elaborate on, referring to a desire to “dominate as many aspects of the game as possible – in possession, in both attacking and defensive transitions, and in terms of aggression”.
Having enjoyed a standout 2025-26 season with the Parisian club, during which he scored nine goals and provided five assists in 31 appearances across all competitions, the Algerian has notably been linked with strong interest from Coventry City, promoted to the Premier League for the upcoming campaign.
Should Rosenior’s wish for Kebbal to remain in Paris beyond the summer be realised, the forward would be embarking on his fourth season there (with a contract running until 2028), after joining the club in 2023 and helping them return to the top flight of French football.
