Strasbourg believe Emanuel Emegha could one day become a £50m plus striker, with Chelsea said to be interested according to Matt Law.
The Blues have been busy this summer and have already made three attacking signings in Liam Delap, Joao Pedro and Jamie Gittens.
Chelsea agreed a deal for Jorrel Hato on Wednesday, and are still working on signing Xavi Simons from RB Leizpig, with negotiations said to be advanced.
Chelsea have undergone somewhat of an attacking revamp this summer, with the signings they’ve made, plus Estevao Willian has arrived after a deal was agreed with Palmeiras last summer.
Noni Madueke and Joao Felix have already left, whilst Christopher Nkunku is also set to depart, with there question marks over the future of Nicolas Jackson.

Whether another striker comes in this season will almost certainly depend on Jackson leaving, but the Blues are always looking at the stars of the future.
Chelsea are thought to be close to agreeing personal terms with Emegha, who scored 14 goals for Strasbourg last season, and Law has provided an update.
“I was told by someone who works around the Strasbourg end of things, that they believe that one day this guy could be a 50 million-plus striker, and again, I think maybe they’re looking to do an early deal for him, to get him into a Chelsea player, is looking at that fair market value,” he told The London Is Blue Podcast.
“Because if you do it now, you can probably do it around… I’m guessing here. I don’t know that this is a figure, but say 25 million. If you do it another year down the line, you might be looking at a fair market value of around 40 million.”
Whilst Chelsea might be looking at an early deal for Emegha, it’s not a certainty that Jackson will be at the club next season.
The Senegal international is attracting interest from a number of clubs this summer, with Chelsea said to value Jackson at £80-£100m.

Manchester United, Aston Villa and Newcastle are all said to be interested, whilst Juventus are also monitoring Jackson.
No official offers have been made, but it’s certainly a situation to keep an eye on for the remainder of the window.
