Ibrahimović determined to earn bigger role after Bayern return | OneFootball

Arijon Ibrahimović has returned to Bayern Munich following an encouraging loan spell at Heidenheim, and the talented attacker is eager to establish himself at the Allianz Arena.

The youngster played an important role during his season away from Munich, gaining valuable Bundesliga experience and taking another step in his development. Now back at his parent club, Ibrahimović is relishing the opportunity to fight for a place in one of Europe's strongest squads.

"I get the chance to play for the biggest club in the world - and I want to make the best out of it. I'm very happy," Ibrahimović said after rejoining Bayern.

The 20-year-old is fully aware that regular playing time will not come easily. Following Bayern's summer recruitment, Ibrahimović expects to begin the season as the understudy to new winger Luis Díaz, but believes opportunities will come if he remains patient.

"I'm supposed to be the back-up for Luis Díaz. I will get my chances to play and I hope I can use these chances to show my talent."

Rather than being discouraged by the competition, Ibrahimović is embracing the challenge. Having benefited from consistent first-team football at Heidenheim, he returns to Munich determined to convince the coaching staff that he deserves a bigger role.

"I want to give it my all in training, in games, wherever I can. Let's see if that will convince the bosses to play me more and more."

Known for his versatility across the attacking line, Ibrahimović's ability to play on either wing or in central attacking positions could increase his chances of earning minutes across a demanding campaign in the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and Champions League.
