Samuel Iling-Junior and Kosta Nedeljković are set for loan departures in the next 24 hours.
Iling-Junior has spent the first half of the season on loan in Italy with Bologna but has struggled for regular game time. He has made 16 appearances, half of those coming in the Champions League.
It is now expected that he will join Middlesbrough in the Championship for the second half of the campaign, according to The Athletic.
It has been well-publicized that Villa would make judgment calls on all their players out on loan during January and Illing-Junior is the latest player to be recalled to find him regular game time to help with his progression.
The winger was signed from Juventus in the summer alongside Enzo Barrenechea for around £18.5 million.
Kosta Nedeljković is close to joining RB Leipzig.
It will be an initial loan deal while RB Leipzig will have an option to sign the right-back for around £9 million + add-ons in the summer, according to Sky Sports Germany.
Nedeljković has struggled for game time despite Villa’s defensive struggles this season and the recent signing of García tells a story in itself.
