As 2025 begins and the crucial part of the football season approaches, brands are working hard behind the scenes to ensure their merchandising is ready when the time comes.
For weeks, mock-up designs of Barcelona’s upcoming kits have been circulating on social media, but it was not until Friday, January 3, that the first official images were revealed.
Several social media accounts shared the actual designs of the new kit, showing the distinctive blue and red stripes that are synonymous with Barcelona.
The design features an eye-catching gradient effect in the centre of the shirt, creating a smooth transition between the colours of the stripes.
This would be Barcelona’s home kit for the 2025/26 season.
This updated design is for the Champions League kit, which includes the special patch representing the five titles the club has won in this prestigious competition. Fans are also eagerly awaiting the release of the second and third kits for next season.
The second kit is expected to stand out with the inclusion of the Kobe Bryant logo, as well as a gold base with lilac accents, drawing inspiration from the legendary Los Angeles Lakers.
The club will highlight the five UCL titles.
The third kit will have a salmon colour, a tribute to Barcelona’s first Club World Cup victory in 2009, which marked a significant achievement in the club’s history.
With the season heating up, these new kits are sure to make an impression both on and off the pitch.
The designs not only reflect the rich heritage of the club but also celebrate their modern successes, making them highly anticipated by fans and collectors alike.
