Incoming Celtic goalkeeper Ross Doohan looks set for a Scotland call up. The 27-year-old is expected to join the Scottish Champions this summer to support Kasper Schmeichel and Vil Sinisalo.
Steve Clarke issued an SOS last night after a calamitous night at Hampden increased the pressure on the manager. Ipswich goalkeeper Cieran Slicker was at fault for two goals as a bang average Iceland side won 3-1.
As reported by Record Sport, Doohan has been added and could make a debut against Liechtenstein on Monday.
Doohan, who made 18 appearances for Aberdeen last season, has been drafted in after Scotland’s shock defeat to Iceland. Gunn was subbed in the opening stages, leaving the third choice to come on. Kilmarnock’s Robby McCrorie was injured in the warm up, leaving Slicker to come onto the park.
