FC Bayern wins the second leg of the Champions League round of 16 against Atalanta Bergamo 4:0. The Bayern stars in the FCBinside individual review.
Jonas Urbig: Had nothing to do for a long time, but shortly before the half-time whistle he made a strong save from close range against Pasalic. That could have been the 1:1. After that, Urbig had no problems keeping out some easier balls. Urbig had no chance when he conceded the late goal. Good game from the goalkeeper. Grade: 2

Josip Stanisic: As a right-back, he repeatedly got involved up front and created danger. He cleared everything away at the back. Strong performance! Grade: 2
Minjae Kim: Started because Upamecano has a yellow card and Kompany didn’t want to take any risks for the quarter-final first leg. Kim did a good job in central defence and was very strong in tackles and confident with his passing. However, he lost the crucial header duel when he conceded the goal. Grade: 3
Jonathan Tah: Put in a solid performance, but was not really challenged by Italy’s harmless attack. 3
Tom Bischof: Fired a low shot after a strong reception of the ball, but the Bergamo keeper was able to defuse it. Otherwise remained relatively inconspicuous, but error-free. Was substituted with a knock. Mark: 3
Aleksandar Pavlovic: Fired a dangerous left-footed shot in the first half, but goalkeeper Sportiello was able to keep it out. Played a lot of passes as usual, but didn’t create the really dangerous actions. Overall a solid performance. Grade: 3
Leon Goretzka: He took a shot directly over the goal with very little pressure. He could have taken much more time. Otherwise played inconspicuously offensively, but didn’t make any mistakes. Grade: 3

Lennart Karl: On the day it was announced that Karl would be called up for the senior national team for the first time, Karl put in a very good performance. The youngster was on the move a lot on the right attacking side and had numerous touches of the ball. He missed a shot in the first half and put the ball next to the goal. He was unerringly accurate at 2-0, however, when he slotted the ball into the corner after being played in by Diaz. He then also set up Diaz’s 4-0 with a high pass. Great game! Grade: 1
Raphael Guerreiro fired the first shot at the Bergamo goal, but keeper Sportiello had no problems with it. A few minutes later, Guerreiro tested the keeper again with a shot, which he also managed to save. Guerreiro made a good impression in the ten, repeatedly showing his technical ability and playing clever passes. In the second half, however, the Portuguese international missed a huge chance when he shot wide of the goal after a beautiful combination. Nevertheless: Grade: 2
Luis Diaz: Largely invisible in the first half, Diaz really turned on the heat in the second half: The Colombian set up Karl’s 2:0 beautifully, and his lob to make it 3:0 was fine food! Grade: 1

an enthusiastic FC Bayern player in red celebrates a goal on the pitch, surrounded by teammates and fans, in a crucial Champions League match. The atmosphere is electric and the team show their passion and T.
Harry Kane: Missed his penalty at the first attempt, but was allowed to take another because goalkeeper Sportiello didn’t have both feet on the line. Kane then confidently slotted the ball into the right-hand corner to make it 1-0. Kane’s goal to make it 2-0 was absolutely world class: the Englishman turned and powered his way through two visiting defenders in the penalty area before thumping the ball into the far corner. Score: 1
Deniz Ofli (55th for Pavlovic): The 18-year-old made his professional debut. Took over the left-back position, with Bischof moving into the center in his place. Made a pretty composed impression for his first game at the Arena. Grade: 2
Nicolas Jackson (72nd for Kane): Didn’t really feature again. 3
Serge Gnabry (72nd for Bischof): Couldn’t make any further impact. 3
Filip Pavic (72nd for Stanisic): Professional debut at 16 in the Champions League! What a story. Played the game as a central defender flawlessly and coolly to the end. Note: 2
Hiroki Ito (83rd for Guerreiro): Returned after tearing his muscle fibers. Came on too late for a rating
