While he awaits Barcelona making a concrete move to add him to their ranks, Marcus Rashford has earned a new suitor in the form of Inter Milan.
Indeed, the Italian giants are looking to revamp their attacking options following their humiliating Champions League final debacle last weekend, which saw them end up on the wrong side of history when Paris Saint-Germain broke the record for the largest winning margin after their 5-0 triumph.
Inter’s forwards barely even saw the ball throughout the 90-minute hammering in Munich, and when they did, they were unable to produce anything near the quality their Parisian counterparts had.

Alas, it’s safe to say reinforcements are needed before they go again next season in hopes of de-throning Napoli or perhaps making up for this year’s woes by going all the way in Europe at the earliest opportunity they get.
According to Fichajes, I Nerazzurri have set their sights on Rashford to kickstart a summer rebuild for the new manager, with Simone Inzaghi departing this week to take over the vacant head coach role with Al-Hilal.
Cesc Fabregas is atop the board’s shortlist to succeed Inzaghi following his impressive season at the helm of Como.
Luckily for Inter, Rashford is available for sale this transfer window.
Now that it’s clear his Aston Villa deal won’t be turned into a permanent one, United are hoping they can receive £40 million to sanction the exit of their academy graduate, whose sale would generate pure profit.
The 27-year-old notched an impressive four goals and six assists in the 17 appearances he made for Villa.
His most stellar showing came in a UCL quarter-final clash against eventual winners PSG, where he ran the show at Villa Park and was integral to the hosts claiming a 3-2 victory – albeit not enough to overturn their deficit from the first leg. Post-match, Unai Emery singled out Rashford for his ‘fantastic’ efforts.
Assuming he’s now also played his final game for United, Wythenshawe-born Rashford will leave his boyhood club with 426 appearances to his name, along with 138 goals and 77 assists.
