Marcus Rashford added yet another goal contribution to his tally last night as Barcelona claimed a 2-1 Champions League win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
Indeed, the Manchester United loanee helped inspire the hosts to a much-needed second-half comeback after they conceded in the 21st minute via Ansgar Knauff‘s opener.

It then took until the 50th minute for the Blaugrana to level the scoring, with Rashford entering the fray at the interval in place of Fermin Lopez.
He set up Jules Kounde for the equaliser before the Frenchman completed his brace just three minutes later, securing all three points and taking them 14th in the standings after matchweek six.
Mundo Deportivo hailed Rashford’s showing as ‘influential’, while Sport went as far as labelling the forward as ‘revolutionary’ for how he helped turn the game on its head.
The 28-year-old’s record for the season thus far now makes for pretty impressive viewing, and he’ll be hoping to maintain such prolific form right through until the end of his loan spell in the hope that Barcelona decide to activate his £26 million buy option.

Despite being contracted to United until June 2028, it was made clear over the summer that Rashford has no future at Old Trafford following a bizarre relationship breakdown with Ruben Amorim.
Amorim had opted against playing the Carrington graduate for a month leading up to his exit last January, when he joined Aston Villa on a half-season loan before sealing his Camp Nou move in July.
Barcelona’s ever-precarious financial situation means he will have to continue proving his worth to Hansi Flick and Co. for the coming months and, even then, the club could well pass up the opportunity to add Rashford to their ranks permanently.
