Fresh from surgery, Joan Garcia is determined to return to action as soon as possible so that he can once again become a key component in Hansi Flick’s starting eleven.
The Spaniard picked up an injury earlier in the month and was subsequently ruled out for a period of at least six weeks.
What followed was a surgery, and the goalkeeper is now in recovery mode. In fact, Garcia took his first step in recovery earlier in the day.
Earlier this Monday, Joan Garcia visited Ciutat Esportiva and was accompanied by the Barcelona medical team, reports SPORT.
It appears the goalkeeper went through a brief medical check-up at the facility before continuing with his physical regimen, which will include a lot of resting for the first few days.
Indeed, the former Espanyol starlet has been advised to rest in the first few days before he is able to take the next step.

The Barcelona new signing is dealing with his injury with a lot of maturity, although he is quite disappointed to have picked up the knock, especially given the form he was in.
The injury does mean he will miss key matches for Barcelona and perhaps even his maiden call-up with the Spanish national team, with La Roja slated to play on October 11 and October 14.
However, recent reports indicate that Garcia has yet to be fully ruled out of next month’s El Clasico, which takes place on October 26.
Until he is available, Wojciech Szczesny will be the man in goal for Barcelona. Fortunately, the Pole has an excellent record for the Catalans, and there is no reason why the club should be concerned, at least in the near term.
