Tottenham Hotspur pulled off a late move on transfer deadline day, bringing in Randal Kolo Muani on loan. According to journalist Ben Jacobs, talks with Juventus fell through, which cleared the way for the Premier League side to strike a deal.
The French striker now has the chance to rediscover the form he showed during his stint in Italy. Aston Villa and Newcastle United tried to swoop in with last-minute interest, but Tottenham managed to seal the move for the rest of the campaign.
With the FIFA international break behind them, Tottenham are set to give Kolo Muani his first minutes as he looks to make an impact across multiple competitions.

Kolo Muani stayed on the bench in Tottenham’s win over West Ham. Despite not seeing the pitch, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano weighed in, noting that Spurs manager Thomas Frank is easing the player into the squad before letting him loose, as the team will need him for the multiple competitions.
“[Tottenham] are just building his fitness as he’s been out of PSG squad for long time,” Romano said in his exclusive GIVE ME SPORT newsletter.
Recently, TBR Football’s chief correspondent, Graeme Bailey, reported, citing sources, that Kolo Muani is expected to play “multiple roles” under Frank, with the Dane open to finding the 26-year-old’s best position.
“I am told that he arrived with Frank fairly open-minded,” Bailey told TBR Football about the Spurs’ manager’s plan to find Kolo Muani’s best position.
“I think he likes the fact that Richarlison, Johnson, Kolo Muani, even Tel, can mix and match, so you could see Richarlison and Kolo Muani out wide, with Johnson centrally – for sure. I personally believe we see Kolo Muani playing multiple roles.”
