As Inter prepare to host Bayern Munich in the second leg of their Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night, here is a reminder of all the players who will not be involved under the lights in San Siro.
The Nerazzurri got their Champions League quarter-final tie off to a winning start in Bavaria: Lautaro Martinez opened the scoring with a brilliant finish after a well-worked team goal, substitute Thomas Muller equalised in the 85th minute, only for Davide Frattesi to restore Inter’s lead in the 88th.
The 2-1 lead means that Inter will still qualify for the semi-finals with a draw on the night of the return leg. Bayern will need to win by two goals to qualify. With no away goals rule in play, a Bayern win by a one-goal advantage will take the tie to extra-time and potentially penalties.

Simone Inzaghi has a relatively full squad of Nerazzurri players to select from on Wednesday night. The most notable absence is Netherlands international Denzel Dumfries, who has not recovered from a hamstring injury that has kept him out since the international break.
As it was in the first leg, Matteo Darmian is in line to start at right wing-back.
Inter’s other injury absence is Piotr Zielinski, who has been out with a calf muscle tear since mid-March, and is unlikely to return before the end of April.

Otherwise, Inter have a fully fit and available first-team squad to pick from. There will however be no Joaquin Correa, who is not included on the team’s UEFA squad list.
Bayern, meanwhile, have several more injury complaints to deal with. Captain and veteran goalkeeper Manuel Neuer is still unavailable, which means that young Jonas Urbig is in line to start again, as he did in the first leg against Inter.
Three key Bayern defenders remain out: Dayot Upamecano, Hiroki Ito and Alphonso Davies among them. The Canadian is unlikely to return until well into the 2025-26 campaign after suffering a torn cruciate ligament (ACL).

Arguably the biggest miss for Vincent Kompany is Germany international Jamal Musiala, who is still several weeks away from a return after tearing his hamstring in a Bundesliga match against Augsburg.
There are set to be two more Bayern players available compared to the first leg, though, as Aleksandar Pavlovic and Kingsley Coman are back and are now available for selection again.
